I met Guido Klemisch in Brugge/Bruges in 1972 at the Festival of Flanders. He has been making instruments since the 70's and creates a very special sound, which in his best instruments is really lovely. Listen to the sound files to get an idea of his approach.  Formerly based in Zwolle, Holland he now resides in Berlin, Germany in a lovely house and has his workshop in the basement.  He also plays professionally on both the recorder and traverso and his recorders are used by many professional and advanced amateur players around the world.
