Rob Gilliam Turner worked for many years in the Prescott Workshop, eventually leaving to start his own workshop. Currently he is not making instruments for sale but concentrating on performing on both traverso and recorder. He thinks that the JC Denner alto is originally a g alto at A392, which means it plays perfectly as an f alto at A440, with no scaling required.
